Tourist visa: (short staying time) It’s what you need to enter Vietnam! Available one-month single-entry visa stay in Vietnam maximum one month). Tourist visa may be extended one time for 30 days after your arrival in Vietnam. If you plan to spend more than one month in Vietnam, or if you plan to exit Vietnam and re-enter from Cambodia, Laos or China, you will need a one-month or three-month multiple-entry visa with the approval from local agents.

Business Visas: Business visa is usually valid for three or six months, allow single entry or multiple entries and the right to work. Getting a business visa has now become cheap and easy, although prices are about double those of a tourist visa. It is generally easier to apply for a business visa once in Vietnam, after having arrived on a tourist visa.

Student visas: A student visa is usually arranged after your arrival. It’s acceptable to enter Vietnam on a tourist visa, enrol in a Vietnamese language course and then apply at the immigration police for a change in status. In reality, the easiest way to do it is to contact a travel company and have them help you make the application.

Visa Extensions:If you’ve got the dollars, they’ve got the rubber stamp. Tourist-visa extensions cost as little US$10, but it is easier to pay more and sort this out through a travel agency. Getting the stamp yourself can be a bureaucratic nightmare. The procedure takes two or three days and you can only extend one time for 30 days. In theory you should be able to extend your visa in any provincial capital. In practice it goes smoothest in major cities, such as HCMC, Hanoi, Danang and Hue, which cater to mass tourism.

Re-Entry Visas:It’s possible to enter Cambodia, Laos or any other country from Vietnam and then re- enter without having to apply for another visa. However, you must apply for a re-entry visa before you leave Vietnam. If you do not have a re-entry visa, you will have to go through the whole Vietnamese visa nonsense again. Re-entry visas are easiest to arrange in Hanoi or HCMC, but you will almost certainly have to ask a travel agent to do the paperwork for you. Travel agents charge about US$20 for this service and can complete the procedure in a day or two.

There are four steps for you to obtain your visa on arrival to Vietnam, which takes you only 2 working days only (1 day for urgent situations). You have to fill in the application form, then pay the service fee; get the visa approval letter, and pick your visa at arrival airports. Firstly, you have to fill in the application form given in advance including your personal detail and send it via email to the service you are using. The next step is to confirm your information and pay the service fee will receive a confirmation that your application form has been sent to the company successfully. If all of the information is exact, the service fee will be paid through some reliably secure third parties like Paypal, Xoom or Western Union. It is certain that your money will be kept in security thanks to these services. Your information will be submitted to the Vietnam Immigration Department in Vietnam to get the approval letter after your payment confirmation. After two days, a visa approval letter will be sent to you by email. Your work is to print it out and bring it to the Vietnam arrival airports (Hanoi – Noi Bai Int’l Airport, Ho Chi Minh City – Tan Son Nhat Int’l Airport and Danang – Danang Int’l Airport). The Vietnam Immigration Department sent the original approval letter to the visa company and fax to the Immigration Office on your arrival at the airport in Vietnam. Therefore, although your approval letter is in grayscale, it is accepted because the Immigration Dept checks and screens your application very strictly. The last step is to get the stamp for your visa. When you come to the Vietnam’s airport upon arrival to get the visa stamped onto your passport, you are required to fill in the visa form, attach your photos and pay the visa stamping fee directly to the Immigration officer. The stamping fee depends on the type of visa you are applying (1 month single, 1 month multiple, 3 months single, 3 months multiple,…). Please keep the visa approval letter with you because you will still have to show it to the airlines in your country when you check in one more time. It is easy to get a visa on arrival to Vietnam. I am sure that you will find it much more convenient and cheaper than Visa code. However, this kind of visa is applied only when you go by air. Get Vietnam Visa fastest- Complete + Tourist visa + Business visa + Student visa – Hassled-fee + No passport delivery + No photo required + No physical delivery – Time-money saving + No embassy chase-down + Low-cost service + No consulate fee Good luck to your trip!

For the uninitiated, Vietnam is filled with motorcyclists and bicycles as it is the preferred transportation for wheeling through the towns and cities. It is also one of the fun activities adventure seekers can partake. There are many motorcycle tours that are currently available for tourists. Some tours can get up to ten days in length and it is definitely a different type of experience, road-tasting Vietnam and seeing the country.
Some of the tours start off at Hanoi, the northwest part of Vietnam and the trail sets off for 10 days. The tour includes escapades and stopovers in various northwest regions from Muong Lay to Sapa to Vu Linh before heading back to the starting point in Hanoi. There are also the northeast trails and the central trails to follow and customized and scenic tours are also available for those who want an easy ride. Scenic motorbike tours take you to Ha Giang where beautiful mountains and lakes await on a beautiful day. It is part of the adventure to include bad weather but usually a little waiting out gets the plan back on track for the tour.
For those who are interested in having a one day adventure on the motorbike, your local tour guides are more than happy to arrange a group for you. Note that most biking tours starts in Hanoi; as such it is a great place to shop for a tour while in Hanoi and make your way out to see Vietnam from the city.
